Description: CCUS is essential in meeting net zero targets and we have committed to supporting the deployment of CCUS in two industrial clusters by the mid-2020s and a further two clusters by 2030, as announced in the Prime Minister's Ten Point Plan. As set out in the Net Zero Strategy we have an ambition to capture 20-30 million tonnes of CO2 per annum and, as per the Energy Security Strategy, will enable 10 GW of low carbon hydrogen capacity by 2030 with at least half from electrolytic hydrogen, subject to affordability and value for money.
