Description: Fleet Solid Support will provide Auxiliary Shipping for stores, ammunition and food sustainment to Naval Forces at Sea.
DCA (RAG) Amber
DCA text: Compared to financial year 20/21-Q4, the IPA's DCA rating increased from Amber/Red to Amber. This is primarily due to the following factors: The removal of the incremental Amber/Red and Amber/Green assessment ratings. A recent Infrastructure and Projects Authority targeted assurance review acknowledged the progress made in addressing the challenges noted in earlier reviews with regards to the complexity of delivering defence capabilities and leaving a lasting legacy to enhance future UK shipbuilding productivity, all for an affordable cost. It concluded that the Programme continues to maximise its use of resources to generate and optimise opportunities to provide the best route to a successful procurement outcome.
Start date 2016-04-01
End date 2030-04-30
Schedule text Compared to 2021-Q4 the project end-date remained scheduled to finish on 30 April 30.
Baseline £21.00m
Forecast £13.00m
Variance -38.00%
Variance text: The budget variance exceeds 5%. The 21/22 budget was 'under-spent' by 33% as a result of the Competitive Procurement Phase requiring re-profiling to reflect a delay to the planned start of this phase. This has resulted in some payment milestones slipping from one Financial Year to the next. This will translate into an equivalent adjustment in Financial Year 22/23.
Whole Life Cost £0.00m
WLCost text: Exempt - Under Section 43 of the FOI Act 2000 - Commercial Considerations
