Variance text: | The budget variance exceeds 5%. In Academic Year 20/21, the Department committed to the Delivery of Phase 1 of the 5-16 National Tutoring Programme to a total cost of 107.7m. Of this, 96.7m fell into FY20-21 and 11m in 21-22. In total, 89m of this funding was spent - underspends came from a contract coming in under cost and grants to schools to support mentor costs came in below expected. |
