| Description: | The Local Full Fibre Networks Programme will stimulate greater commercial investment to deliver faster and more reliable connectivity. Full fibre connections provide speeds in excess of 1 Gigabit per second, low latency and are highly reliable. Greater availability of these networks will enable businesses and individuals to access the connectivity that they need both now and for the future, as well as facilitating the deployment of 5G. Benefits include: Stimulation of the broadband market Impact on infrastructure and improvements in the overall network wider economic, productivity and business / jobs growth. |
