| Description: | Schengen Information Systems 2 (SIS II) exchanges information on persons and objects wanted for law enforcement purposes. It enables the participating Member States to better combat domestic and transnational crime, protect the border and strengthen public protection. It also extends the reach of law enforcement across Europe through enhanced information sharing and increased operational effectiveness. |
