| Description: | The Green Deal programme aims to create a market framework and a new energy company obligation which will enable a step change in the delivery of energy efficiency measures and contribute towards meeting legally binding carbon budgets. Key objectives around creating the market framework are to remove financial and quality assurance barriers for consumers, stimulate demand and allow new entrants to the market for energy efficiency in household and business buildings.
